Get to Know Our Chiropractor
Dr. Smith’s experience as a chiropractic patient inspired him to become the chiropractor he is today.
I suffered with low back pain to the point it affected my involvement in sports and having good work performance. After several visits to many different types of doctors I was still in pain. I met a Chiropractor who convinced me to try chiropractic treatment. Within four visits I was completely pain free and noticed all the other patients I saw in his office improving like I was. That’s when I decided I wanted to be a chiropractor.”
A Chiropractic Education
Dr. Smith began his pre-chiropractic education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he received his degree in Exercise Science. He was then accepted into Texas Chiropractic College in Houston, Texas. Upon graduation in 2003, Dr. Smith returned to the Birmingham area to begin his practice.

On a Personal Note
Dr. Smith is married to Je Anne and they have three children. Outside of the office, he is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting, fishing, and following college football. Most importantly, he cherishes the time spent with his family and serving his local community.
